We’ve seen Nigerian men that did this – get married to white women old enough to be their grandmothers. Well, meet KwaZulu Natal singer, Bongani Ndlovu, who literally set his country on fire yesterday after he tied the knot with his 71 year-old heartthrob, Mona Lisa Larsson.
Bongz, born Bongani Ndlovu, wedded Monalisa yesterday morning at the registrar of marriages in Ulundi. His romance with the 71-year-old has been a subject of hot debate on KwaZulu Natal tabloids.
The 24-year-old first introduced Mona as his lover to the public on his Facebook page and since then,
came under sharp criticism which he often ignores.
To even prove to his critics that his love for his fiancé wasn’t fake, Bongani composed two songs in her honour titled: Mona Lisa no Bongani. In the hit ‘Mona Lisa’ Bongani Ndlovu revealed that the elderly woman is the love of his life and he doesn’t care about other people’s views.
“The one you call elderly, I discovered secrets in her and she gives me love to the fullest,” sings Bongani.
Even at that, some people still accuse him of wanting to fleece the old lady while others supported him for being true to his heart in marrying the love of his life.
